Organisation is my middle name; I love structure! Keeping track of the reactive last-minute shifts can be chaotic and I've crafted a way to ensure all the Emergency locum shifts within a certain radius of my ‘driving’ ad-hoc ED locum doctors can be communicated quickly. 

We've found these pools of available ED doctors that are close to the metropolitan hospitals add a huge resource to the directors and workforce managers.  It is also super reassuring for departments knowing we have credentialed doctors close by to help any last-minute sick leave.
